With over 3,500 partner restaurants, is the Swiss market leader in food delivery and operates as a platform between the consumer and the restaurant. was founded in 2007 by two former HSG students. Five years later, a joint venture with the British JUST EAT Group was formed, and as of 2015, became a subsidiary of JUST EAT.

In early 2020, the JUST EAT Group merged with Dutch food delivery company to form Just Eat (LSE: JET, AMS: TKWY). In this context, the merger of the and brands also took place in Switzerland. The company continued to operate under the name and further expanded its position as the Swiss market leader. Just Eat is a leading online marketplace for food ordering with over 205,000 connected restaurants worldwide.

In March 2020, the company signed one of the largest sponsorship deals in UEFA's history. To make advertising and marketing measures even more efficient, the brand will switch to Just Eat in May 2021. There will be no changes for the more than 150 local employees, employed and insured couriers, customers and restaurants. This is a pure re-branding of the brand.

Why do you change your name from to

Together with our parent company Just Eat, one of the world's largest online marketplaces for food ordering, we have signed the sponsorship for a number of UEFA football competitions as an official partner of UEFA. The long-term partnership follows on from the company's current UEFA EURO 2020 partnership, supporting a total of twelve UEFA competitions and events. In order to align the related advertising and marketing activities even more efficiently, the brand will now be uniformly changed to Just Eat. The strong branding is expected to generate even more orders and thus sales for our restaurant partners. We look forward to a continued successful cooperation!
